The store is where the hospital sells physical goods to the public — supports, dressings, home-monitoring kits, retail lines from the pharmacy. This tab is the shopfront: its address, its branding, what it features and how checkout behaves.

Plan limits

Set it up

1

Publish products first

An empty store is not worth an address. Add and publish products in the Store module — the preview here says “Publish products in the Store module to see them here” until you do.
2

Claim your address

Set the Store address under Your link. The indicator underneath reports at once if the shape is wrong or the address is taken.
3

Write the hero

Fill Headline and Subheadline, add a Hero image if you have one, and use the Announcement bar only for something genuinely time-limited.
4

Brand and lay it out

Pick an Accent color and Theme, then a Layout and Products per row. The live preview follows every change at desktop or mobile width.
5

Feature what matters

Choose a Featured collection, then select Featured products in the order you want them pinned — the chips number themselves as you go.
6

Set fulfilment and tax

Turn on Offer shipping and Offer in-store pickup to match how you actually hand goods over, and set the default tax rate and label.
7

Save, then go Live

Select Save changes, then switch Off to Live and save again.

What changes once you save

  • The storefront goes online at your address and starts taking orders, paid through the payout account connected in Online payments.
  • Orders draw on the same stock the hospital uses. A store product is linked to an inventory item, so a sale online reduces the same figure the dispensary sees. Stock levels and cost are read from that item — they cannot be edited on the store page, deliberately, so the two can never disagree.
  • New products inherit the tax default, and each can still override it.
  • Fulfilment switches change checkout — shipping and pickup appear as options only when you have turned them on.
  • The live store shows only what you saved. An unsaved change appears in the preview and nowhere else: “Save your changes so the live store reflects them.”
  • Switching to Off takes the store down at once. Orders already placed are unaffected.
Changing the Store address breaks links you have already shared — printed cards, social posts and QR codes pointing at the old address stop working with no redirect. Settle the address before you publicise it.

Check it worked

Select Open and view the store in a private window. Your announcement bar, headline, branding and featured products should be there in the order you set. Place one small order end to end: checkout should complete, the success message should be yours, and the linked inventory item’s stock should fall by what you bought.

Common issues

The storefront starts on Starter: “Brand your online store, feature products, and embed it on your website. Available on the Starter plan and above.” See Change your plan.
Accountants can open settings but not edit this tab.
You are at your plan’s active-product limit — 100 on Starter, 1,000 on Essential. Retire something, or upgrade.
Correct, and deliberate. Both come from the linked inventory item so the store and the dispensary can never show different numbers. Change them in Inventory.
“Upgrade to Team to automatically email shoppers who don’t finish checkout.”
The payout account is unfinished. Check Onboarding: Complete and Charges: Enabled in Online payments.
