Every practice on ClinikEHR has a permanent Account ID — a short code shaped like CE-7K4M-92QX. It is how you and our support team both refer to your practice without either of you reading out its name, and it is the number the New Practice Startup Program application asks for.

Where to find it

1

From General Settings

Open Settings → Profile → General Settings. Your Account ID sits in its own row near the top of the page, with a Copy button beside it.
2

From the account menu

Select your avatar in the top-right corner of any practice page. If you are the owner or a manager, your Account ID appears near the top of the menu with the same Copy button.
3

On a receipt

Every subscription receipt and invoice PDF prints the Account ID under Billed To, so a past receipt works too.
Only owners and managers can see it — everyone else on your team opens Settings and does not find the row. If the row says your Account ID could not be loaded, select Try again; it never changes, so nothing is lost.

What it is for

  • Talking to support. Read it out or paste it into an email and we open the right practice immediately, with nothing else to confirm first.
  • The Startup Program application. The form asks for it so we know which practice is applying — see New Practice Startup Program.

What it is not for

It is a lookup key, never a password. It tells us which practice you mean — it proves nothing about who is asking. Concretely:
  • Support will never accept a recited Account ID as proof of identity. We still verify who you are the normal way before making any change to your account.
  • No sign-in screen, no API, and no form anywhere accepts an Account ID in place of your usual login.
  • Reading it out to someone, or pasting it into an email, does not hand them access to your practice’s data.
If anyone — including someone claiming to be ClinikEHR support — asks for your Account ID and then treats it as if it proves your identity, that is not how it works here. Stop and contact us directly at [email protected].

It never changes

Your Account ID is minted once, when your practice is created, and stays the same for as long as the practice exists. It has no connection to how many practices have signed up, or when yours did — it is random, not a running count.
