The booking page is the hospital’s public front door for appointments. This tab designs it, chooses what it offers, decides whether money is taken at booking, and publishes it — with a live preview beside every change.

What this tab controls

Above the tabs sit Preview, Save Changes and Publish / Unpublish, a Booking Page URL card with Copy and Open, and a Live or Draft badge.

The Settings tab

Set it up

1

Design the page

On Design, pick a template and set the four colours — or take a Quick Preset — then a Font Family. Set the Page Slug, which becomes the page’s public address.
2

Write the content

On Content, say who the page is for and what happens after a booking. Keep it short; a booking page is read standing up.
3

Choose the services

On Services, search your catalogue and add the ones patients may book themselves. The badge shows how many are on the page, and Services on Your Booking Page lists them — “These services will be displayed on your public booking page.” Flag one as Featured if it should lead.
4

Set the questions

On Forms, decide what a patient must answer while booking. Ask for what the clinic genuinely needs at the desk and no more.
5

Turn booking on and set the window

On Settings, switch Allow Online Booking on, confirm the Clinic Timezone, and set Advance Booking Days to how far ahead you want the diary opened.
6

Decide about money

Turn on Accept Payments only if you want to collect at booking. Then choose Payment Methods, and use Require Upfront Payment with a Deposit Percentage if you want a deposit rather than the full fee.
7

Save, then Publish

Select Save Changes — “Your booking page has been successfully updated” — then Publish. The badge flips from Draft to Live.

What changes once you save

Saving and publishing are two different actions, and both are needed.
  • Save Changes stores the design and settings. Until you save, the amber banner reads “You have unsaved changes. Don’t forget to save your work!” and the public page still shows the old version.
  • Publish puts the page online: “Your booking page is now live and accessible to patients.” Unpublish takes it offline again — “Your booking page has been taken offline.”
Two conditions must both hold before anyone can book online: Allow Online Booking is on, and at least one service is visible on the Services tab. A published page with neither renders and offers nothing, which reads to a visitor as a broken site. Opening hours are not on this tab. Times come from schedules in Booking settings, minus existing bookings and any blocking calendar events. That is precisely why a page can be published, correct and still show a patient no available times — the page is fine and the schedule is missing. Once payment is on, Require Upfront Payment changes the booking flow: the patient pays before the appointment is created, at the deposit percentage you set. Money lands in the account connected in Online payments — if it is not connected, this tab shows “Stripe not connected” (or “Paystack not connected”) with a link back there rather than a provider picker. A booking made here creates a real appointment in the hospital diary, so the front desk sees it alongside everything booked by phone.

Check it worked

Select Open on the URL card and view the page in a private browser window. You should see your branding, your services, and — critically — real times to choose from. Book one test appointment through to the end: it should appear on the hospital calendar with the answers the patient gave, and your Booking Confirmation Message should be what they saw.

Common issues

The page is not the problem. Availability comes from Booking settings — check there is a schedule covering those days and that the provider or venue matches.
Check both conditions: Allow Online Booking on the Settings tab, and at least one service showing under Services on Your Booking Page.
You published without saving, or saved after publishing and stopped. Select Save Changes whenever the amber unsaved-changes banner is showing.
“You need to connect a Stripe account to collect upfront payments for your current currency.” Finish it in Online payments, then come back and pick the provider.
Being active in the catalogue only makes it bookable internally. Add it here on the Services tab as well.
Clinic Timezone on the Settings tab is wrong. Every offered time is calculated from it.
