Every clinician sets up their own licences, individual NPI and DEA registrations from their personal profile. As an owner or manager, you can see that same information for anyone on your team from Staff Members — read-only — and mark each credential as checked.

Open a staff member’s credentials

1

Open Staff Members

Settings → Staff & Teams.
2

Select Credentials from their Actions menu

Opens a read-only panel: their individual NPI (if they’ve added one), every Professional License, and every DEA Registration, each with its expiry date.
An expired or soon-to-expire credential is flagged the same way it is on the person’s own profile — clinical reports they sign will print it marked EXPIRED once its date passes.

Verify a credential

Marking a credential verified records that you personally checked it against its source (a state licensing board, the NPPES registry, or the DEA) — it does not change anything on the person’s own profile.
1

Select Mark verified

On the credential you checked. Confirm in the dialog that follows.
2

It shows Verified

With a checkmark. This is visible to any owner or manager who opens this panel — not just you.
A verification resets itself if the credential changes. If the staff member later edits that licence, NPI or DEA number on their own profile, this panel shows Unverified (changed since verified) — automatically, the next time anyone opens it. Nobody has to remember to re-check it; the page does.
To undo a verification you made by mistake, select Remove verification and confirm.

Who can edit the values themselves

Nobody but the staff member. This panel is read-only by design — an owner or manager can see and verify what is on file, but cannot type in a different licence number, NPI or expiry date on someone else’s behalf. If a value is wrong, ask the person to correct it on their own Account Settings.
