Connecting a calendar is something you do for yourself, so it has a home on your personal Settings that nothing about a workspace’s own navigation can take away from you.

Why this tab exists here, not only in Settings

A workspace also has its own Calendar Integrations tab inside Clinic Settings, and for most people that is where they will actually connect an account — see Connect an external calendar for the full picture, including read-only calendar subscriptions, which only an owner or manager can set up. This tab exists in addition, for one specific reason: Clinic Settings is a page an owner can hide from your role entirely, using role-based navigation. Connecting your own calendar is not an act that should depend on whether you can see Settings — so it also lives here, on your account, reachable no matter what a workspace’s navigation is set up to show you.
If you can already reach Calendar Integrations inside a workspace’s own Settings, use whichever one is more convenient — they operate on the exact same connection. This tab does not add a second calendar; it adds a second door to the one you already have (or are about to make).

Connect your calendar

1

Open the Calendars tab

On Profile and Settings, it’s the last item in the sidebar.
2

Choose which workspace, if you belong to more than one

A picker reads “Choose a clinic…” — an external calendar account is tied to your staff record in one workspace at a time, so the same person working in two workspaces connects each separately. With only one workspace, it’s chosen for you.
3

Connect your account

The rest of the screen is the same Connected Accounts / Calendar Subscriptions section a workspace’s own Calendar Integrations tab uses — sign in to Google or Outlook, choose which of that account’s calendars to sync, and set whether each one Blocks booking or is Info only. See Connect an external calendar for every step and what a synced event actually does.
Choose the right workspace before you connect. An account connected under the wrong clinic protects the wrong diary and puts your calendar’s events on a schedule you didn’t mean to affect.

Who can do this

Check it worked

  • The workspace picker (if shown) lists every workspace you’re staff in.
  • After connecting, the row shows Connected with a count of calendars syncing.
  • An event from that calendar appears on the workspace’s clinic calendar at the right time.

Common issues

Exactly what it says — this tab needs an active staff membership somewhere. Join or create a workspace first.
You belong to exactly one workspace, so it’s selected automatically — there’s nothing to choose between.
They can — it’s the identical connection either way, since this tab and the workspace’s own Calendar Integrations tab both act on the same record. Ask them to reload.
You cannot connect a colleague’s Google or Outlook account, from here or from Clinic Settings. They need to connect it themselves — from either location.
