Deleting your account cancels your subscriptions immediately and wipes every workspace you own, along with all of its clinical data. You have 30 days to change your mind, and nothing after that.
Export your records first. Once the 30 days elapse, the data is gone and no export is possible — not by you and not by us. Take a copy of every workspace from Clinic Settings → Data Export before you start. See Export your data.

What deletion actually does

The Danger Zone card states it plainly: “Permanently delete your account, clinics, and all associated clinical data. Billing stops immediately; the data is removed after a 30-day recovery window.” The confirmation dialog, Are you absolutely sure?, lists the consequences under Critical Warning:
  • Your subscriptions and add-ons are cancelled immediately
  • All patient records, notes, prescriptions & results are permanently removed after a 30-day recovery window
  • Your clinic staff will lose access when the deletion completes
  • You can cancel the deletion from this page any time within the 30 days — after that it is irreversible
It removes the workspaces you own. Workspaces where you are merely a staff member are not deleted — you simply stop being able to reach them. If you only want to leave one clinic, ask its owner to remove you instead.

Before you start

1

Export every workspace's data

Do this for each workspace you own, one at a time, and confirm the file downloaded and opens. See Export your data.
2

Tell your staff

They lose access when the deletion completes, without a further warning from us.
3

Deal with anything in flight

Unpaid invoices, submitted insurance claims and pending payouts do not survive deletion. Settle or collect them first.
4

Consider handing the clinic over instead

If the practice is continuing without you, transferring ownership keeps the records intact and the staff working. Contact support before deleting.

Delete the account

1

Open the Account tab and scroll to Danger Zone

It is the last card on the tab.
2

Select Delete My Account

The Are you absolutely sure? dialog opens with the Critical Warning list above.
3

Tell us why

Answer “Before you delete — could you tell us why?” — one of No longer practicing / closed clinic, Switching to another product, It didn’t meet my needs, Too expensive, Privacy or data concerns, Created by mistake / duplicate or Other. There is an optional box for anything more. The confirm button stays disabled until you choose a reason.
4

Select Permanently Delete Everything

Billing is cancelled at that moment and the 30-day clock starts. You get a confirmation naming the date everything will be removed.
Cancellation of your subscriptions happens now, not in 30 days, and it is not reversed if you cancel the deletion. You would need to subscribe again from Billing.

Change your mind

For 30 days the Danger Zone is replaced by Deletion scheduled with the date, and a Cancel deletion — keep my account button. Select it and your account and all workspace data are intact, exactly as they were. The one thing that does not come back automatically is the subscription — it stays cancelled, and you re-subscribe from Billing. See Change your plan.

Check it worked

  • The Danger Zone now reads Deletion scheduled with a date roughly 30 days out.
  • Your Billing page shows no active subscription and no further charges.
  • Your export files are on your own machine and open correctly. Verify this today, not on day 29.

If something goes wrong

Exactly what it says: nothing changed. Try again, and if it repeats, contact support.
You have not chosen a reason yet. Pick one from the list above the button.
Some payments or payouts had not finished clearing. They are handled before the deletion runs; you do not need to do anything.
Inside 30 days, select Cancel deletion — keep my account — everything is recoverable until that date. After it, nothing can be recovered.
Either the deletion has already completed, or you are signed in to a different account from the one you scheduled. Check the email address you signed in with.
