Your plan includes an allowance of storage for files attached to forms and signature requests, and a number of envelopes you can send for signature each month. When you run short, a pack adds more for a month — a single payment, not a new subscription, and your plan stays as it is.

The line under the Forms title shows: A figure turns amber once 80% is used. The owner also gets a notification when envelopes, or codes texted to signers, for the month are 80% used, and again when they are all used — once each per month. If a figure could not be read it shows —, never zero. Envelopes is left out on a plan that does not include sending documents for signature.

What a pack adds

The price is shown next to each pack before you pay.
  • Envelope packs raise the allowance of whichever month they are in force. Envelopes are still counted by calendar month.
  • Storage packs raise the allowance while they are in force. When one ends, files already stored stay where they are; only new files meet the smaller allowance.
  • Packs add up: two packs in force add both.
  • If your practice moves to a plan without that allowance — for example from Team to Free, which does not include envelopes — a pack in force adds nothing while you are on that plan. It is not refunded, and its month keeps running; if your plan changes back before it ends, it counts again.
  • A refunded pack ends straight away. Its envelopes or storage come off your allowance as soon as the refund goes through.
  • A pack is only offered where it can be used. The Free plan does not include sending documents for signature, so it is not offered envelope packs. Enterprise has no limit on storage or envelopes, so it has nothing to add and is offered no packs.

Buy a pack

Open Forms

Only the practice owner or a manager sees Buy more at the end of the usage line.

Select Buy more

The Buy more dialog lists the packs your plan can use, with their prices.

Choose a pack and select Continue to payment

You complete the payment on the secure payment page that opens.

Return to Forms

You see Payment received. The pack appears on the usage line as soon as the payment is confirmed — usually within a minute.
If you leave the payment page without paying, you return to Forms with No payment was taken, and nothing changes.

From a storage notification

When your practice reaches 80% of its storage, and again when it is full, you get a notification. Opening it takes an owner or manager straight to the storage packs in the Buy more dialog.

Practices billed in naira

Packs are not yet available for practices billed in naira. The dialog says so, and nothing is charged. Upgrading your plan still raises both allowances — see Change your plan.

Troubleshooting

Reload the Forms page after a minute. A payment made by a method that takes time to clear, such as a bank debit, is added when the money arrives, not when you leave the payment page. If the pack is still missing after that, contact support with the date and amount of the payment — never a patient’s details.
Only the practice owner or a manager can buy a pack. For everyone else the usage line shows the figures only. The button is also hidden when your plan has nothing a pack could add to.
Try again in a moment. If it keeps happening, your practice may be billed in a currency packs are not yet sold in, or the pack may be temporarily unavailable — the message under the dialog says which.
Your practice has sent every envelope its plan and any packs allow this month. Buy an envelope pack from Forms, upgrade, or send it next month. Envelopes already sent are not affected.
