The store sells what your inventory already holds — supplements, devices, dressings, anything you stock — at a public address your patients can reach without signing in. Stock and cost stay in inventory; the store is the shop window.

The Store screen

List something for sale

There are two routes in, and the fast one is usually right.
Select Sell from inventory, search with “Search inventory by name or SKU…”, and select Sell on the item. That publishes it as a product with one variant, linked to the inventory item it came from. Use this for anything you already stock and are not fussy about presenting.

Building a product

1

Enter the details

Give it a Title and a Description, assign a collection, and set the tax rate and label if this product is taxed differently from your default.
2

Save once to create it

The product is created on the first save. Photos and extra variants attach to a product that exists, so save before you try to add them.
3

Add variants

Under Variants, select Add variant and name it — “Variant name (e.g. 100ml)”. The variant you start with is named Default; rename it if you are selling more than one size. Link each variant to the inventory item it draws from.
4

Save each variant

Variants save one at a time, not in a batch. Save each one before moving to the next.
Stock and cost are not editable in the store. They come from the linked inventory item, so there is one number for how many you have, wherever you look. Change stock in Inventory, not here.

Publish the storefront

1

Claim your store address

Enter a Store address. It is checked for format, for reserved words, and for uniqueness across every ClinikEHR workspace, so a common name may already be gone. Your shop then lives at that address.
2

Write the shopfront

Announcement bar (optional), Headline, Subheadline, Intro (optional) and Footer note (optional) are the page copy. Success title and Success message are what a customer sees after they order — say what happens next and when.
3

Style it

Set an Accent color and Theme, choose a Layout and Products per row, and pick a Featured collection and Featured products for the top of the page.
4

Set tax

Set your default tax rate and its label here, so new products start correct rather than needing fixing one by one.
5

Go live

Flip the switch from Off to Live and select Save. The page is not public until you do both.

What your plan allows

Two limits people meet early:
  • “Digital products are available on the Team plan. Upgrade to sell downloads.”
  • “Embedding your storefront is a Team feature. Upgrade to add it to your website.”
A custom domain such as shop.yourclinic.example is available on Team and Enterprise — see Custom domains.
A subscription that lapses drops you to Free, and Free has no storefront. Your products are not deleted, but the public page stops selling until the plan is active again. See Change your plan.

Check it worked

  • The product appears under Products and counts toward Active products on the Overview tab.
  • Your store address loads in a private browser window, with the product and its price visible.
  • A test order appears under Orders, and the linked inventory item’s on-hand figure has dropped.

If something goes wrong

That is deliberate. Both come from the linked inventory item — change them in Inventory.
Variants save individually, and only after the product itself exists. Save the product first, then save each variant in turn.
It is checked for format, reserved words, and uniqueness across all ClinikEHR workspaces. Choose something more specific to your clinic.
The switch must read Live and you must select Save. Setting one without the other leaves the store off.
Starter allows 100 active products and Essential 1,000. Deactivate what you are not selling, or move up a plan.
The store sells against inventory, so this means the inventory figure was wrong. Reconcile with a stock count — see Inventory.
