Listing lets a connected marketplace partner see your pharmacy and check whether it carries a medicine, without you exporting anything by hand. You decide whether to be listed, at Settings → API access — this page covers the two things that live on the Inventory screen instead: confirming which of your items are which medicine, and seeing which items a partner has nothing to search on.

What you’re looking at

Two things on the Inventory screen, both reachable regardless of whether this pharmacy is actually listed yet:
  • Medicines to confirm — a button in the toolbar, with a count badge when anything is waiting. Selecting it opens a list of items whose name looks like a known medicine, each with the substance it was matched against and two buttons: Confirm and Reject. Nothing is ever confirmed automatically or in bulk — a person always decides, one item at a time. The empty state reads “Nothing to review.”
  • N items partners cannot find — a banner that appears only when at least one active item has no barcode, NAFDAC number, or in-house code. Selecting Show them opens the list, each item with an Edit shortcut straight to that item’s record.
A brand-new catalogue with every item already coded shows neither of these — that is the intended, quiet state.

Confirm a medicine match

1

Select Medicines to confirm

The toolbar button shows a count when anything is waiting.
2

Read the match

Each row states the item’s own name and which substance it was matched against — for example, “Amoxil 500” contains “amoxicillin” — confirm this is the same medicine.”
3

Select Confirm, or select Reject

Confirm links the item to that medicine, so partners searching by name or by code can find it. Reject leaves the item unlinked — it stays exactly as invisible to partner search as it already was, and nothing about the item itself changes.
Items are ordered by how fast they sell, so your busiest products get reviewed first.
Confirming the wrong match means a partner is told the wrong drug is in stock. Read the substance named, not just the item’s own name, before selecting Confirm.

See what partners cannot find

1

Look for the banner

It only appears when at least one active item has none of the three identifiers.
2

Select Show them

Opens the list of affected items.
3

Select Edit on any item to add a barcode, NAFDAC number, or code

Any one of the three is enough — an item does not need all of them.

Hide an item or a category from every listing

From an item’s row menu on Inventory, select the hide icon to withhold that one item from every listing this pharmacy has, or has yet to get. A hidden item behaves exactly like one you do not stock — it is simply absent, never shown as “hidden” or “unavailable.” To hide a whole category, or to see and undo everything currently hidden, use the Listing card under Settings → API access.

Check it worked

  • A confirmed match no longer appears in Medicines to confirm, and the item can now be found by a partner searching by name or code (once this pharmacy is listed).
  • Adding a barcode, NAFDAC number, or code to every affected item makes the “items partners cannot find” banner disappear.
  • A hidden item or category no longer appears when you preview the listing from Settings → API access.

Common issues

A suggestion only appears when the item’s name matches exactly one known medicine. An item matching several medicines, or none, is left out entirely rather than guessed at — link it manually if you know what it is, by correcting the item’s name or category.
Rejecting only removes it from the queue — it does not change the item. Edit the item and give it a clearer name; if it matches a medicine on the next check, it will be queued again.
It counts active items only. Check that the code you added was saved on the item itself, and that the item is still marked active.
That’s expected — hiding only affects what a listing partner sees. Your own stock, sales, and dispensing are unaffected.
