This is your pharmacy’s identity. The name and logo you enter here are what a customer sees on a printed receipt and on an invoice, and the timezone decides which trading day a sale is counted in.
This screen is shared across every edition, so its fields are still labelled Clinic Name, Clinic Logo, Clinic Branding and Clinic Description even though everything around them says pharmacy. Nothing is wrong — look for the word “Clinic” and read it as your pharmacy.

What this tab controls

The card is headed General Information — “Your clinic’s basic information and regional preferences.” Every field here is owner-only. A manager or an accountant opens the same tab, sees the values filled in, finds the fields greyed out, and gets no Save Changes button at all.

Set it up

1

Open General Settings

From the sidebar footer select Settings, then ProfileGeneral Settings. It is the tab you land on by default.
2

Upload your logo

Under Clinic Branding, select the Clinic Logo uploader and choose a square image. Keep it simple and high-contrast — a thermal printer prints in black dots only, so a pale or detailed logo comes out as a grey smudge on an 80mm receipt.
3

Enter the trading name

Type over Clinic Name if it is wrong. This is the name a customer reads at the top of their receipt, so use the name on your shopfront.
4

Choose the timezone

Open Timezone and start typing your city — the list is searchable. Choose the zone the counter actually works in, not a head office elsewhere.
5

Fill in address, phone and email

Address, Phone Number and Email Address are the three that print on documents you send out. Use an email address you are happy for a customer or a supplier to reply to.
6

Save Changes

Select Save Changes. You get “Clinic settings updated successfully”. If nothing happens, look for red text under Email Address (“Please enter a valid email address.”) or Website (“Please enter a valid URL.”).

What changes once you save

Three things people expect to happen and which do not:
  • Nothing already issued is re-stamped. A receipt that has printed and an invoice PDF that has gone out keep the old name, logo and address. Only documents produced after the save carry the new details.
  • Recorded sale times do not move. Changing the timezone changes how times are displayed and which day they group into from now on; it does not rewrite what has already been banked.
  • Your currency is not here. That lives on Billing and plans, and it is a separate decision.
Colleagues see the new details on their next page load. A till running the desktop shell picks the new name and logo up on its next receipt.

Check it worked

Reload the tab — your values should still be there. Then ring up a small test sale and print the receipt: the header should carry the new name and logo. Finally open Sales and confirm today’s takings are bucketed under today’s date and not yesterday’s.

Common issues

You are a manager or an accountant. This tab is owner-only to edit. Ask the pharmacy owner, or see Roles.
A field failed validation. Clinic Name needs at least two characters, Email Address must be a real address, and Website must be a full URL starting https://. The message sits directly under the offending field.
The Timezone is wrong, or was left on UTC. Set it to the zone the counter works in, then reload. Past figures regroup as soon as the correct zone is applied.
Only receipts printed after the upload carry it. Re-print the receipt rather than re-opening a saved copy, and on a desktop till reload the page once.
Thermal heads print black dots, not shades. Replace it with a bold, high-contrast version. See Thermal receipt printers.
This tab refreshes itself when the settings change. If your typing is replaced mid-edit, a colleague saved at the same time — re-enter your change and save again.
