ClinikEHR ships as three editions. An edition decides which modules exist at all for your business — it is not a pricing tier and you do not upgrade between them. A pharmacy never sees a consultation screen; a diagnostic centre never sees a ward. Your edition is set when your workspace is created and matches the kind of business you signed up as.

At a glance

Which one am I running?

Three quick tells, in order of reliability.
1

Look at the sidebar

The left rail is generated from your edition. If it lists Triage, Consultation and Notes, you are on Clinic & Hospital. If it opens with Pharmacy Station, POS and Sales, you are on Pharmacy. If it opens with Lab Station, Worklist and Test Requests, you are on Diagnostics.
2

Look at the word for the people you serve

Your sidebar says Patients, Clients or Customers. Only the Pharmacy edition says Customers.
3

Open the mobile menu

On a phone, the navigation drawer is titled with your own word for the business — Clinic Navigation, Pharmacy Navigation or Lab Navigation.
An edition change is a support-side operation, not a setting. If you signed up as the wrong kind of business, contact support rather than creating a second workspace — moving data between workspaces afterwards is not something we can do for you.

Clinic & Hospital has two shapes

The Clinic & Hospital edition covers everything from a single therapist to a multi-department hospital, so its navigation adapts to the plan.
One flat list of modules, and the people you serve are called clients. There are no clinical departments — no triage queue, no ward, no theatre — because a solo or small-team practice does not route a patient between units. You get: Dashboard, Appointment, Contacts, AI Agents, Telehealth, Notes, Clients, Billing, Memberships, Insurance, Documents, Inventory, Store, Executive, Analytics and Achievements.

Plans within an edition

Each edition has its own ladder. Plans control features and capacity; the edition controls which modules exist. Staff seats work differently between them, and this catches people out:

Clinic & Hospital — seats are billed

Your plan sets a maximum number of seats, not an included allowance. Every billable seat is charged monthly from the first one. Some roles — supervisor, biller and scheduler — neither count toward the cap nor cost anything.

Pharmacy and Diagnostics — seats are included

Your plan includes its seats at no extra cost, and nothing is ever billed per seat. When you reach the cap the next invite is refused and you are offered the next plan up. Every account counts — there are no free roles.
